Federal tax credits are also available for small businesses and non profits to help cover the cost of health insurance for employees. Connect for Health Colorado is the only place where you can access this savings. In 2014, these tax credits will increase,paying up to 50 percent of premium costs for eligible small businesses and 35 percent of premium costs for eligible nonprofits. What about My Employees' Family Members?
If your employees have family members not covered by you, they may have options through Connect for Health Colorado. They should shop for health insurance in our Individuals and Families Marketplace and may be eligible for financial assistance to reduce the cost of health insurance or for other health insurance programs.
